    4 Simple Steps to Remove Hardwood Floor Adhesive:

    • Prepare the area
    • Remove the main bulk of adhesive from the surface
    • Freeze the surface
    • Complete the removal

    Preparing The Area

    Give yourself a clean area to work with. Sweeping the floor will remove much of the dirt and dust that can hinder the adhesive removal process. After the floor is clear, wash it clean with warm soap-liquid water, so that it is in the ideal state for the work to begin.

    Cleaning and removing the surface adhesive

    Get the adhesive back to liquid form by using hot water. Cover a reasonable area of the floor with clean towels and pour boiling hot water over the towels.
